Sickos

It seems like we've been sick the whole time we've been in Georgia. Back in November I got a cold. One of those runny tingly nose types along with the watery eyes and sneezing. Although it did seem a little like allergies which I've never had. That lasted about 1-2 weeks. Then Josiah got a bad cough. Poor boy was constantly coughing. His teacher even wrote a note in his assignment book about his coughing. Tara has had runny nose stuff going on and Gaber has had nose issues too. Then in December I got a cough with chest congestion. Now I am on my 5th week with it. Yes, I should have gone to the doctor like 4 weeks ago, I just kept thinking that it would get better. I finished off a whole bottle of Robitussin and then started taking Mucinex. After I finished off 1/2 the box of mucinex I decided to stop with the meds, they obviously aren't working. You'd think by now I would go to the doctor, I know. Now in my 5th week I feel silly going. Its not near as bad and so the doctor would just look at me and wonder why I'm there. But now Tara has a cough and I did take her. I don't play around with their health. It looks like she has RSV. Its not bad, yet. She is on some meds for that and she'll be checked out on Monday to see if she is any better. If not, I'm not sure what her dr will do, so just pray for that.
With all the coughing going on in our house, Gaber has decided that he has a cough too, which he doesn't. So he does his fake little cough and asks for prayer. :) So, we go ahead and pray for his cough too. I think Jeff is the only one that has been spared of any sicknesses lately. Although he did rip off 1/2 of his finger nail at their camp out while playing football with the teens. Ouch!
I've decided that we are allergic to Georgia. That has to be it. Even though we are allergic to Georgia, we love it here...only because of our church. :)
Other than the sicknesses everything else is going fine. Jeff has been busy at work, busier than he has ever been. Josiah is doing good in school. Gaber is doing good in school too. Tara is walking everywhere and just growing up way to fast. Chloe, well...she's still our lazy pooch.
And I, well, I'm excited about the spring time and summer! And hoping our allergies to Georgia :) will take a break soon.
