Gabriel had quite a day yesterday. When I came downstairs yesterday morning he was standing by the table with white stuff all over his hands with a YUCK look all over his face. Beside him on the table was the can of Pledge. So I took him to the bathroom to wash him up and explain to him what that Yuck stuff was. :c) He decided he wasn't dusty and so he didn't need that stuff. lol
Later in the day, I was on the computer, he came over to me and said, "I'm sorry for what I did". When one of your kids says that, you know they did something pretty bad for them to fess up! I swing around in my chair thinking something is broke or worse to find that he had squeezed Elmer's school glue all over the table and the bottle. It wasn't the worst thing that could happen, but still a mess! I guess he thought it was a whole lot of fun at the time but afterward realized it probably wasn't the best idea. I am so proud of him for telling me and not lying! He has been into lying lately, his answer to us when we ask how something happened is usually, "I don't remember." So again I explained to him why we don't play with the glue and hopefully it won't happen again! :c) But I still had to ask him if he was a 4 year old or a 2 year old today. He giggled and said, 4!!!!
Later in the day, this doesn't go with being a 2 year old, he came into the front room with a guilty grin on his face. I asked where he had been, he said I don't know. I told him that was lying and so he said the closet. I asked what he was doing in the closet and he said I don't know. Again I said that is lying and so he told me he was praying! Not sure if that is the truth, I would like to think it is and that he wasn't up to no good in there! (The picture is from when he was 2)
Such great pictures you have included. I haven't figured that out yet. Oh well, there;s always tomorrow. GB
