As I was sitting here teaching Gabe to read and write he says, "Mommy, do you know why I love you?" I start thinking of the reasons he may come up with, like, b/c I read to him, play with him, make his food, clean his laundry or even teach him to read and write. No. He says, "Because you helped me defeat Bowser's Castle that one time. Remember?" I smile and nod.
Oh, the important things in life, to a 5 year old.
