Potty Adventures, Part 3
This morning Tara woke up completely dry...for the 3rd time in a row! So I decided to let her eat a banana while sitting on the toilet, that was the only way I could get her on it. So, there she sat eating a banana but no pee. *sigh* She sat there eating and I sat there on the floor, praying for her to go, I knew she had to but she just wouldn't do it. Five minutes later I take her off and put her diaper back on. When we leave the bathroom I realize it is time to get siah to school so I pick her up and immediately feel the warmth. Yep, she went and filled that diaper to the max. Little stinker.

Hey Crystal! I don't know if you're looking for advice, but I thought I'd share what worked with Melanie when she was potty training, since it sounds like Tara is doing the same thing she did. Let her pee on herself. I know that sounds strange (and frustrating to clean up!), but it really worked. I just put her in regular underwear instead of a diaper and kept her in an uncarpeted part of the house. For Melanie anyway, she didn't mind peeing in her diaper because she didn't "feel" it, since it's absorbed pretty quickly away from their skin. But with pee trickling down her legs she was uncomfortable and didn't want to feel that anymore. Within a few days she was going on the potty without any coaxing from me. That's my two cents on the matter... hope you have success soon!!
